Things to do and see
- Our condo is just steps away from the beautiful Kamaole 1 beach park where you can swim, snorkel, boogie board, or relax and soak up the sun.
- Take a snorkelling trip out to Molokini. Check out the Kai Kanani which offers the shortest trip to this prime snorkelling location.
- Enjoy a Hawaiian Luau. There are several on the island. One of the closest is the Maui Sunset Luau at the Maui Prince Hotel. The Old Lahaina Luau is also a wonderful experience.
- Take a short drive North of Kihei to the Maui Ocean Center, a state-of-the-art marine park dedicated to fostering understanding for Hawaii’s marine life.
- Drive the Hana Highway to see rainforest and waterfalls. Stop on the Hana Highway at the Coconut stand - if you haven’t tried sugar cane or “baby” coconuts, a treat! Bring Mosquito repellant for the hiking to the falls!
- Brave the zipline course at Kaanapali. Amazing!
- Try the East Maui 4.5 hour rainforest hike through Hike Maui .

- Foodland (1881 S Kihei Rd ). Mid-size supermarket with Hawaiian and organic selections.
- Safeway (277 Piikea Ave). Largest grocery store in Kihei. Will have most of what you need.
- ABC Store (2349 S Kihei Rd). Just around the corner. Gas station plus general store. A good source for gifts and last-minute needs.
- Boss Frog's (2395 S Kihei Rd). In the Dolphin Plaza. Rent snorkel gear, surf and bookgie boards, golf clubs. Book snorkel and dive excursions.
- Honolua Surf Company (2411 S Kihei Rd). Down the street. A cool clothing store for the young at heart.
- Drive into Kahului for major stores such as Costco, Walmart, and Kmart

- Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar (808) 879-0004 - 1881 S Kihei Rd. My all-time favorite sushi restaurant.
- Kihei Caffe (808) 879-2230 - 1945 S Kihei Rd. Eat breakfast with the locals
- Maui Tacos. 808.879.5005 - 2411 S Kihei Rd. Good place to grab lunch.
- Shaved ice shack - on S. Kihei Rd, just past Maui Tacos. Try it with vanilla ice cream on the bottom. Yum.
- Sports Page Grill and Bar (808) 879-0602 - 2411 S Kihei Rd. Watch the game, drink a beer, eat a burger.
